About Sending us Demos
Phonocake is a netlabel and publishes digital files, so it's ok if you send us links to some of your tracks, that you have created by yourself. You can use file-space-provider like sendspace.com or so. We appreciate complete tracks and better encoding quality files (mp3 256). Phonocake cannot offer upload web space to date. But you can send us the links to your files via the contact form.
If you think your music could match with our label, then come as you are and show us your work. But please pay attention, that we have a focus on musicians, who live in our city or around (the core). But of course we are open to new international friends too. If we do not write back on your contact, this can have one of many reasons. We cannot answer to all emails, we get. There are times, when we have more than 5 planned releases in the queue, which is sometimes a bit too much for us. |
