Deftype has been producing since 1998 in his homestudio. The 'Gemischtwaren ep' is his first publication. Through hints by Phonocake-Guests, he came to our label.

Deftype lives and works in Sleepy City Dresden.

Deftype started producing with trackers and developed a very own musical style over the years. He starts producing his tracks with loops, builds from them more detailed versions. Like Deftype says, his music is a kind of daily book that consists of tracks and associations of one year.
