"Die Insel" is a project combining the poetry by Nora-Eugenie Gomringer and electronic music by Buben.

Nora-Eugenie Gomringer is a German and Swiss poet and writer, winner of 2015 Ingeborg Bachmann Prize. The selected poetry has been artistically embedded into the experimental compositions by the Belarusian producer Buben renowned for his earlier works with poets. The musical interpretation of Nora-Eugenie Gomringer's poetry has been presented by Buben in connection to the publication of the poetry book in translation into Belarusian. In the compositions though, Nora reads the poems herself - and of course, in German.

Buben's attempt to rethink and enhance the mood and the meaning of the selected poems by Nora-Eugenie Gomringer opens an opportunity to enjoy a new reality created by the two artistic genres playing together.
